#29 Hangin @ Studio L in old town
5 Faces are on display @ Studio L 306 San Felipe Street NW in old town. They are waiting to be taken home by someone, hopefully from the international community who is attending the Balloon Fiesta. "Curly" top left, "Bailey" top right, "Bear" bottom left, "Chloe" bottom middle, and "Blue Boy" bottom right. How cool would that be for the faces to travel.
#28 "Oscar" Crackle Cheeks
Oscar Crackle Cheeks is sitting on the window sill outside of Zynergy on Silver. Oscar really wants to be hung in a window to get the full effect of the sun blazing through his crackled cheeks. On the window sill was a tiny computer chip and Oscar was happy to take its place and the chip jumped in my back pocket for a ride home to my studio to be worked into some obscure piece of art.

# 27 "Curly" Happy face
Yahoo! We are back. Beautiful brisk fall morning, sitting @ Limonata on Silver having a hot Mocha enjoying conversation with a friend and watching the hot air balloons drift by. The long hot summer is over, the kiln has started up again and tiles are getting made and consequently faces are appearing from the scraps. The faces and I are happy to be back.

#26 "Theresa", not mother face
OMG it is mother hot! 98 degrees today and Theresa is easily sweltering outside on the wooden curb on Laurel off Grand View. She is hoping for a cool shaded patio somewhere.

#25 "Hashter"
Hashter took a trip way outside the comfort zone to the south valley for a birthday party. It was great fun and Hashter is at a well deserving home with a extremely creative guy.

#24 "Jasmine" Square Face
Beautiful morning for a walk, slightly overcast giving some relief from the high 90's, which we have had for over 2 weeks now. Indeed summer is here. Jasmine on the curb @ the corner of Santa Clara and Wellesley complementing the rich colors of the rock and the lovely green of the juniper.

#23 "Terence"
Terence passing the time on the corner of Solano and Pershing, feeling quite comfortable @ a house he's always admired. There are so many things, little baubles, pottery figures, and idiosyncratic objects in this yard, we find something new to look at all the time.

#22 "Sarah" Scruncher
Once again @ the coffee house, Sarah wanted to get left on a corner but dang with both dogs and trying to carry glass and manage 2 dogs it's treacherous, not for the dogs but for the glass. Those dogs they are such moochers. So Sarah stayed to relax and smell the aromas of roasting coffee, before she gets a ride to her new home.

#21 Prince "Ramone" aka froggy face
Prince Ramone sitting on the curb @ San Raphael and Amherst looking for a pick up. Twenty one faces out, all but 2 taken and 2 replies. It must be all about the two's.

#20 Miss Piggy nose
I have been out of town in lush, overcast, cold Washington. Miss Piggy nose is happy to be home basking in the sun, on the curb next to the desert landscape on the corner of Amherst and Pershing. It's true the desert has to grow on you. To come back to the sparse, intensely subtle colors of New Mexico makes me truly feel this is home.

#17 "Bozette"
Bozette is bold and seems happy, so we decided to go public. On the bench outside of the CO-OP being brave with all of the pedestrian traffic. We know that Bozette will get taken home, the question is will the finder respond. We are hopin! We've been thinking maybe next time we go to eat we'll leave a face. Well, then there is always the curb idea to just leave faces on corners on the curb.

#16 "Gerald"
2 in one day, Gerald was out of his comfort zone. Got on the bike to go for groceries, and the bike needed air. It turns out the Bike Coop has moved. We went off on a little adventure to Central and Yale. Gerald felt like it might be to dangerous to sit with plasma donors (glass and all) which is right next to the new location of the bike shop. So we went for bagels to consider where we should be, while locking up the bike Gerald sat on the table @ Einsteins bagels and just stayed.
#15 "Bailly"
Bailly, all shiny and bright in the sun on the turtle bench @ the Ernie Pyle library. Just getting ready for the childrens' hour. Bailly is spiffed up looking to be taken home today.
